Snow Guards are rooftop devices that help prevent snow slides and the dangerous movement of snow and ice on a metal roof by allowing it to melt completely or drop off in small amounts. Polycarbonate Plastic snow and ice guards can also be called, snow-guards, snow brackets, snow guards, snow birds or snow clips. Our clear snow guard products help prevent damage from avalanching snow and ice while remaining practically invisible, adding beauty and function. Kit Includes: 25 Clear 3M SnowBreaker Snow Guards 1 Tube of SureBond SB-190 adhesive for a bead around the perimeter and 8 alcohol panel preparation wipes. Placement of snow guards in just isolated areas such as chimneys, doorways, vents and partial roof sections is NOT recommended. The 3M peel and stick tape does not require long cure times but a minimum of 72 hours of 50 degrees or above is recommended. The 3M tape is only rated as a temporary method of attachment that is simple to install and will not cause roof leaks.
